Peisey-Vallandry Ski Resort & Travel Guide

Peisey-Vallandry is a small and very nice cosy ski resort in French Alps with a unique atmosphere of the traditional Savoy mountain village. In general, Peisey-Vallandry consists of five tiny villages: Landry, Peisey, Nancronix, Vallandry and Plan-Peisey.

The small town Peisey-Vallandry is located in the centre of the large ski area of Paradiski. Between three villages and two modern stations, there are many hotels for those tourists who want to combine a quiet holiday with an unlimited choice of ski runs. For additional convenience, wide infrastructure in the Peisey-Vallandry resort is designed for the needs of mountain-skiing tourists.

Ski Resort Location

Two Savoy villages of Plain Paisey and Valandry are located in the southeast of the Les Arcs Massif. They are united into one ski resort, perfectly suitable for both family and youth recreation. There is always a good snow cover here: due to the abundance of snowfalls, and the developed system of made-man snowmaking. Peisey-Vallandry runs through thick coniferous forests, reliably sheltered from the winds and have a comfortable and interesting territory.

The first village of Peisey (Peisey-Nancroix), situated at 1350m, joins the village of Le Villaret via the free cable car "Lonzagne" at Plan Peisey station, which is at an altitude of 1600m.

The infrastructure of the ski stations Plan Peisey and Vallandry provides all conditions for an interesting and memorable ski holiday. Almost all chalets and apartments are not further than 550m from the ski slopes.
