Ski Resort Location

Belle Plagne  is located in the Savoy region, near Vanoise National Park. The resort offers a traditional Savoyard atmosphere with its incredible mountain peaks. Belle Plagne is a beautiful village with pedestrianised town centre, which ensures you can ski down through the village to the La Plagne Bellecote. La Plagne ski area was an Olympic venue in 1992, now that is famous for offering access to the popular Olympic Bobsleigh run. The resort of Belle Plagne lies at an elevation of 2,050m, with a max vertical of 2,000m and its highest lift going as far as 3,250m. There are a total of 128 pistes in the immediate vicinity of the resort, served by 109 ski lifts. Around 40% of the slopes are ideal for beginners, 50% serve the needs of intermediates and the remaining 10% are for experts.

Don’t forget that Belle Plagne is part of the La Plagne ski area, with 225 km of downhill skiing and 128 individual pistes, accessible with a single pass.
