Right in the middle of mighty Paradiski ski area there is Peisey-Vallandry ski resort. Piste length in Peisey-Vallandry is only 32km, with ski Lift Pass you can go further and try out La Plagne, Les Arcs or Montchavin-Les Coches. Skiing or taking a lift to other resorts is really easy here. Ski resort is above 1500m, so usually you can ski right back to Peisey-Vallandry. This resort is for true enthusiasts, as Apres-Ski is not the focus point. Here it’s all about skiing. There are 19 black, 32 red, 54 blue and 1 green pistes. Lots and lots of great blue and red runs accompanied with one of the world’s longest black pistes. Its location has made Peisey-Vallandry the hub of Paradiski area. Many will say that Peisey-Vallandry is the home of snowboarding. Cult films 'Apocalypse Snow' have been shot here. Setting for snowboarding is amazing – Appacalypse terrain-park offers humps and mounds, tables and rails, pyramid and gaps etc. As mentioned before, this is not a best place for those seeking more Apres-Ski activities, there are some bars and most of the hotels have bars of their own though. Couple of restaurants are ready to serve traditional French meals. These are the airports, you can use to get to Peisey-Vallandry.
