Sainte Foy Ski Resort & Transfer Guide

Sainte Foy is a small ski resort in French Alps, but with the big reputation – for home-like atmosphere, good-quality snow and a lot off-piste tracks that can attract skiers away from Val d’Isere.

There have been ski lifts here since 1990, but what’s really put the resort on the map has been a big surge in new building over the last two or three or years. Now there’s accommodation to match the quality of the slopes. The resort is growing quite quickly and now boasts some top quality accommodation as most of the chalet is brand new and purpose built with skiing in mind - plenty of bathrooms & storage, great views across to Mont Pourri with underfloor heating, saunas, jacuzzis and most are less than a 100m to the slopes.

Sainte Foy is an excellent base for those with a car to visit some of France's classic ski areas, within a thirty-minute drive, including Val d'Isere, Tignes and Les Arcs as well as the cross-border French/Italian region of La Rosiere/La Thuile.

In Saine Foy, there aren’t such opportunities for entertainment that you find in Val d’Isere or Meribel, for example. But here you will not find such crowded pistes, hustle and bustle either, unlike at the big alpine ski resorts.

Ski Resort Location

Sainte Foy is situated in the French Alps, near the Italian border, at an altitude from 1550 m to 2650m. It is a nice relaxed resort with access to great skiing and snowboarding of all levels.

At the same time, it’s more convenient than big nearest resorts with the local lift ticket (and everything else) far cheaper than most of its neighbours.

The resort of Sainte Foy saved its authentic charm and local architecture, again in contrast to many of its better-known neighbour resorts, so now is a good time to spend your holiday there.

How Much Will My Transfer Cost?

The price your transfer will be based on a variety of factors, but don’t doubt it would be the lowest possible. Here at Alps2Alps, we do everything to keep our fares uniquely affordable at all times, including the peak of ski season.

Just a few factors may affect transfer price to Sainte Foy:

  • Airport of your arrival
  • Distance and travel time to the ski resort
  • Time of year and seasonal demand
  • The size of your group and the age of all the travellers
  • Deals and discounts at the time of booking

All of the above will only ever result in our base-rate for ski transfers going down – we never over-inflate our prices. Unlike others, we consider all the factors and details of your trip to lower our standard rates. We always recommend our clients to make a booking in advance for getting the best deals. We also offer large shares for off-peak and midweek transfers to Sainte Foy. Pay attention to the fact that travelling outside peak season or midweek usually leads to the biggest savings (up to 60%).

Your transfer quote will also depend on vehicle availability, transfer schedule, vehicle utilisation and other costs like road tolls and airport parking charges.

If you have any additional requests or will be travelling as part of a larger group, please contact our customer service team to discuss the possibility of your transfer.
