How to Save Money on Your Transfer

If you want the cheapest ski transfers and the quietest roads, always book midweek. You can save up to 60% compared to the weekend, or busy periods like school holidays!

How Much Will Your Airport Transfer Cost?

Alps2Alps offer the most competitive transfer quotes around, because we don’t have fixed prices. The amount you’ll be charged depends on a variety of factors.

These include:

  • Your arrival airport
  • Your chosen resort
  • The number and age of travellers
  • The vehicle type
  • Departure times
  • Extra charges e.g. parking, road tolls
  • Any applicable discounts

How Does it Work?

We start with our standard fare and then work out how we can reduce it based on the factors mentioned above. For this reason, our prices are never increased - which means we can promise value for money with each and every ski transfer.

What Route Will My Driver Take?

There are three possible transfer options for your route to Avoriaz.

The standard route takes you through Geneva to Bonneville and Cluses, before passing Morzine and arriving at Avoriaz.

The second option takes you from Geneva to Fillinges, then through Saint Jeoire-Taninges and Morzine.

As the A40 motorway gets congested during the weekend, the second route is often the best option.

The third route follows the south side of the stunning Lake Geneva.

All three routes take approximately the same amount of time from Geneva. Your driver will pick the best option based on the current circumstances, with safety as a top priority.

Why Should I Book a Private Transfer?

Public transport can incur delays, due to the multiple changes and waiting around. This can mean you don’t get as much time on the slopes as possible.

There are a number of different reasons why a transfer is the best option for you and your family. These include:

  • Door to door service
  • Friendly drivers
  • Maximum time on the slopes
  • Hassle-free travelling

Can I Make Any Stops Along the Way?

If you need to make a stop to a nearby supermarket or shop, simply ask the driver. Picking up some last-minute supplies is recommended, as prices at the resort will be much higher.

Travelling to high altitudes can make some passengers feel unwell, particularly younger ones. If you experience any symptoms, you can ask your driver to stop, adjust your seat or change the temperature.
