The shortest route from Grenoble airport to La Plagne (191km), will usually take you via N90 national road. Take D119 motorway. On A48, A41, A43/E70, A430 and N90 head to the destination (Aime). Just before the Aime take the exit to the right towards Aime and La Plagne. Continue on the D221 towards D223 (La Plagne Tarentaise). You should bear in mind that in winter the road on the way up to La Plagne from Aime can be quite windy and although snow clearers operate every day, driving conditions can be hard. Always ask the driver about the best possible route. If there is bad weather or snow, just plan extra time for your transfer.
You don’t have to go straight to your dream ski destination. Ask your driver for a short stop (up to 10 minutes) - if you wish to stop at any stage of the trip to stretch your legs or breathe a fresh air, we will happily accommodate this.
There are several supermarkets en-route to La Plagne. You may feel a little bit hungry during the journey, there you can find some snacks and buy your much-needed ski holiday essentials. Sometimes products bought on the way to ski resort can be cheaper comparing to those found in the resort stores.
