One of the resorts of the last generation (built entirely anew in the second half of the 70s of the XX century), Valmorel was designed taking into account all the errors in planning and organization of ski resorts of previous generations. Walking in the center of the resort creates a complete sense of the old Savoy town. In this pedestrian resort (cars are allowed only for the arrival and departure of tourists) there is not a single concrete and faceless building.

Despite ambitious projects, the French ski resort of Valmorel makes an accent on the amazing environment. Buildings certified to the highest environmental standard in the resort occupy only 3% of the territory.

Valmorel combines two advantages: in its architecture resembles a traditional Alpine village, and in functionality - the most modern ski resort with full infrastructure.

The ski resort of Valmorel is situated near the National Park of Vanoise, in the center of the French Alps in the southeast of the country. Located in the Maurienne Valley, Valmorel, together with the resort of St. Francois-Longchamp combined the Grand Domain skiing area.

There are two children's clubs in the territory of the resort: Piou Piou exclusively for children aged 18 months to six years. Children under the age of three can play with the educators, while children between the ages of three and six can learn to ski. Older children can join classes at a regular ski school. In the ski school, you can study in groups and individually.
