Saint-Bon is the village where it all began; Courchevel Le Prazs is where they host the French Olympic jumps; Courchevel La Tania is a must-see car-free village; if you’re visiting the Courchevel village, ensure to pay a visit to the Aquamotion aquafun centre.

Moriond is the village to go to après-ski as the village is ready to gift you the memorable moments; and finally, the Courchevel 1850, which is ideal for shopping, visiting the local shops, and having tasty gastronomical experiences.

Courchevel offers entertainment to all kinds of visitors, skiers or non-skiers. We will go through all the types of activities you can do, from horseback riding to hot-air ballooning (my personal favourite), mountaineering, or taking the kids to the library. The good thing about Courchevel is that they let you do the more random stuff like driving a piste-basher.

Courchevel skiing: an overview

Courchevel belongs to the largest ski area in the world—The Three Valleys, which gives you access to 600 kilometres of snowy pistes to explore. Courchevel alone offers 150 kilometres of runs with over 55 lifts to take you to different levels of altitude. The French resort also offers snowsure throughout 85% of the pistes, which are well-known for being nicely groomed.

Non-skiing activities in Courcheve

As stated before, Courchevel hosts all types of visitors. The majority loves to spend some time on the snowy slopes; however, many others prefer to stay away from it.

Some non-ski activities are sleigh rides where you can explore the ski terrain during the night and experience a day in the life of a snow groomer. Dog sledding is another alternative where you get to build an unforgettable connection with the dogs while exploring the Savoie panoramic views.

And, one of the most popular choices for non-skiers is snowshoeing; many walking itineraries are available to choose from.

Things to do in Courchevel village

Aquamotion is very popular among visitors who visit the Courchevel village; slides, saunas, and steam rooms are available so you can relax and unwind away from the cold snow.
