Val Cenis skiing: an overview
There is 125 kilometres of skiing available to explore. The open season to ski is from December to April, with snow guaranteed. In addition, there is artificial snow being produced. Things to do in Val Cenis village
If you’re planning on going to the Val Cenis, the Mont-Cenis natural lake, it’s a must-see. The panoramic views you will be presented with are memorable. Another place to visit is the Alpine du Col du Mont Cenis garden; free group tours are available as well as guided tours. It’s open from May to November. If you want to do something indoors and discover the culture of the mountain people, the Musée d’Archéologie is the place to go. Services like guided tours are available. Family-friendly and kids’ fun in Val Cenis
The majority of families visiting Val Cenis with the little ones normally visit the tobogganing areas. There is a designated run for children, “Val Cenis Turbo.” Minors under 5 years old can’t participate. Children age 5 must be accompanied by an adult, and the 8-year-olds can already go on their own. The tobogganing environments are the mountains or the ski area. Rates for participating are 30 euros for four runs, and It’s accessible from December to April.
