Finkenberg is a small traditional village near Mayrhofen in the heart of the impressive Zillertal valley. Finkenberg is part of the Tux - Finkenberg ski area with access to 227km of downhill skiing, with 24 marked pistes, served by a total of 59 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Finkenberg itself (143km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Tux - Finkenberg ski resort of Hintertux. Being part of the Zillertal Valley, snowboarders will find lots of opportunities to free ride here. The Penkenjoch which is situated just above Mayrhofen has some great areas to discover. There is also a good snowboard park next to the Sun Jet Chair.
