The resort of Hochgurgl lies at an elevation of 1,930m, with a max vertical of 1,150m and its highest lift going as far as 3,080m. There are a total of 39 pistes in the immediate vicinity of the resort, served by 24 ski lifts. Around 56% of the slopes are ideal for beginners, 31% serve the needs of intermediates and the remaining 13% are far more challenging.

This multi-functional complex located on top of the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski resort combines the base station of the new lift, the highest motor cycle museum in Europe, a modern wait-staffed restaurant and the toll station for the Timmelsjoch Hochalpenstraße.
Family Friendly/Kids
The Hochgurgl ski resort offers ski schools and the kids park Boboland for the youngest skiers from the age of 3. The two children's areas at Wiesental and Pirchhütt are run by Skischule Obergurgl.
