While skiing in Hochkonig you have the excellent possibility to experience one of the most beautiful ski tours in the Alps on the Königstour with 35 km of continuous slopes and 7,500 vertical meters and 6 peaks. Maria Alm ski resort is the ideal starting point for the Königstour. The village offers 120 km of slopes with great ski runs, 30 km of cross-country trails, floodlit toboggan runs, and ice stock lanes.

Hochkonig is part of the Amadé Ski Area, which boasts 760km of downhill pistes, with 375 marked ski runs, served by 270 ski lifts. Around 46% of the slopes are ideal for beginners, 37% serve the needs of intermediates and the remaining 17% are far more challenging.

The Hochkonig Ski Area includes 5 Austrian Ski Resorts. The appropriate Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski areas of Dienten am Hochkönig, Maria Alm and Muhlbach am Hochkonig.
