The resort of Nendaz lies at an elevation of 1,400m, with a max vertical of 1,950m and its highest lift going as far as 3,300m. There are a total of 35 pistes in the immediate vicinity of the resort, served by 20 ski lifts. From Christmas onwards, you will be able to use new gondola which will take you to the top of the legendary Piste de l’Ours in only 8 minutes. Around 42% of the slopes are ideal for beginners, 52% serve the needs of intermediates and the remaining 6% are for advanced skiers.
Nendaz ski area is part of the 4 Valleys ski region, with 205 pistes and 92 lifts accessible with a single pass. With the appropriate ski Lift Pass you will be able to ski or snowboard in the other 4 Valleys ski resorts. Nendaz ski resort is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Siviez.

There are 16 churches and chapels in the commune, some dating as far back as the 15th century.
