Axamer Lizum is located in Innsbruck and its holiday villages (Austria, Tyrol). You can have wonderful skiing just 19 km from Innsbruck. Axamer Lizum has an urban atmosphere and traditional Austrian architecture. That was a purpose-built resort for the Olympic Games in 1964. Nowadays this excellent ski destination ranks as one of the best ski resort in Austria. With some of the highest altitudes in the country, it offers snow-sure skiing all season and natural powdery snow.
