Scheffau is a quaint and quiet Austrian village. That is the smallest of nine resorts of the vast SkiWelt area - Austria’s biggest lift-linked ski area. Being a key resort in the Ski Welt area, Scheffau is a great getaway to start the discovery of this amazing ski region! Scheffau is located between ski resorts of Ellmau and Söll. Although it is smaller than its two neighbours, Scheffau is regarded as the most picturesque resort in the entire Ski Welt area. You are not going to be disappointed - the views of the surrounding mountains are really amazing.
The ski resort Scheffau is located in the Wilder Kaiser Region (Austria, Tyrol). Scheffau is situated at the foot of the stunning Wilder Kaiser (Wild Emperor) mountains and the beautiful Hintersteinersee Lake. This quiet village with traditional Tyrolean chalet-style buildings and housing family-run restaurants is a great choice for tranquil winter holidays. Scheffau is not a party town - you wouldn’t find there loud bars and nightclubs, although you will also find some fantastic four and five-star spa hotels. If you are a party animal – neighbouring Soll and Ellmau are only minutes away, whose two provide a wide range of party activities.
Scheffau is part of one of Austria's biggest ski resort. The facilities of the ski resort are excellent - Scheffau skiing is reached via one of two gondolas which both head up to the main Brandstadl area.
