Easter Skiing 2020: Where to Go

As you probably know, snow cover in each ski area can change from year to year. For the best Easter skiing in 2020, look no further;

Les Arcs in France

Les Arcs in France is part of the huge Paradiski ski area and is one of five resorts in the area. Altitudes in this area reach 3225 metres which means great snow cover long into the season. With so much terrain to explore, all skiers are well accommodated for here, making it a clever choice for group ski trips.

The resort itself is family friendly with quality ski schools, affordable ski chalets, hotels and apartments.

Geneva to Les Arcs transfers take on average 2 hours 30 minutes.

Val d’isère in France

Val d’isere is home to not one, but two glaciers- Pissaillas and Grande Motte. In addition to an altitude of 2,500 metres, this makes Val d’Isere a superb snow sure resort for an Easter getaway.

This picturesque French resort makes the most of the Easter break with free Easter egg hunts for little ones and Easter mass.

Transfers from Geneva to Val d’Isere take just under 3 hours.

Cervinia in Italy

North facing slopes and glaciers soaring to 3000m make Cervinia in Italy perfect for Easter skiing.

Thanks to being less well known than some of the big-name resorts, you can enjoy a relatively quiet holiday here, with plenty of room on the slopes for beginners. Pistes are relaxing and well groomed and the resort remains open until May.

Transfers from Geneva to Cervinia take around 3 hours.

Mayhrofen in Austria

Mayhrofen often sees healthy snowfall in April, making it a good bet for a fun-filled Easter ski break. The resort even has high-tech artificial snow making facilities just in case.

The nearby Hintertux glacier provides breathtaking views, while the resort itself offers a lively nightlife scene.

Munich to Mayhrofen transfers take approximately 2 hours.

Obergurgl in Austria
