This direct route will take you past the Chevril dam and along the lake to arrive at the area known as La Daille - the gateway to the renowned ski resort of Val d'Isere.
An alternative route will take you via the motorway, heading towards Lyon / Albertville. This journey is longer and will incur motorway toll fees, though you could get to Val-d’Isere faster if the shorter route is heavily congested.
A third option would be to journey via Clusaz / Megeve. This is a much longer drive, so should only be used as an emergency if all other options are closed.
