If we are 7 passengers, is there any possibility to book only one vehicle?

Yes, there is! We typically use Opel Vivaro and Renault Trafic vehicles up to 8 seats with extra large luggage space. You can book online and get the best quotes for up to 8 passengers.

Do you have a buses with a large capacity?

Yes, we have! Please contact us by e-mail or telephone to make a request to our operators. For a large group transfers we can offer buses up to 52 seats.

How can I get a quote for my airport transfer requirement?

What are the costs for your transfer services?

Transfer prices vary depending on departure airport, destination, number of people in your group and the type of transfer service required. Are your transfer price quoted by your website inclusive all extras?

Our prices quoted online are include all cost associated with the transfer, inclusive your ski equipment, luggage, any child seats.

What is the deadline for online transfer bookings?

The deadline for online bookings is two days before your arrival date. For any last minute bookings please contact us by email or telephone.

Who provides the transfer service?

We are an independent airport transfer provider. Normally all of our transfers are done with our own fleet of vehicle and our own drivers. Should for there be any unforeseen changes to our transfer arrangements we will inform you in advance.

How do I find Alps2Alps representatives on arrival?

There will be an Alps2Apls representative waiting for you in arrivals, holding up a sign with your name on it.

What are typical waiting times?

With private transfers, waiting times are virtually zero. We leave as soon you and your group have collected your luggage and come though arrivals.With shared transfers there may be a waiting time of up to two hours depending on the shared service you chosen. Alps2Apls will always schedule shared vehicles to minimise waiting times for our customers. Any airport transfer can have delay factors out of our control such as excessive road traffic during peak times, flight delays, adverse weather conditions and any passenger caused delays. Alps2Alps will try to minimise any waiting time, but we can't guarantee a minimum waiting time.

What happens in the case of delays?

In the case the Alps2Alps representative is delayed, you will be notified immediately with alternative arrangements. In the case that you, your flight or train is delayed we will wait for you when ever possible. If you booked a private transfer we will wait for up to 2 hours, depending on our vehicle schedule. If delays are too long we will transfer you with an alternative private transfer vehicle. If you are booked on a shared transfer we will take you on the next scheduled shared service. In either case you will get to your destination resort at no extra cost.

Are all transfers door to door?

 

Yes, all transfers are door to door. Exceptions: if the road is closed, if it's too narrow for the car or if the resort is a car-free area. In these cases the clients will be taken as close as possible to their accommodation.

 

What happens during poor weather/road conditions? 

 

Usually it just means longer transfer times. The Alps2Alps team will contact you to reschedule your pick up time from the resort if bad road conditions are expected. All of our cars are absolutely equiped for winter conditions - we have winter tyres and snow chains, plus our drivers are specially trained in mountain driving and in safe driving during bad road conditions. Occassionally during poor weather conditions your transfer time can increase twice, so please follow our suggestions regarding your pick up time from the resort.

 

Can I be picked up / dropped off at an airport hotel?

 

Yes, you can. Please make a note of this during the booking or send information to Customer Service in a separate email. 

 

Can I make amendments to my booking? 

 

Yes, you can. Please send an email with the required amendments to the Customer Service team by email. Please note changes might require additional fees and are subject to availability.

 

How do I know if my child needs a child or baby seat?

 

Children under the age of four must be properly secured in a child seat, if possible. They must then ride in a booster seat until they turn eight.

 

How long before my flight will I get picked up? 

 

Alps2Alps schedules all departures to arrive at airports two hours before the departure time of a flight. Our booking system automatically calculates your pick-up time - just enter your flight time and we'll do the rest. If bad road conditions are expected, the Alps2Alps team will contact you to reschedule your pick up time. 

 

How much luggage can I bring on my Alps2Alps transfer?

 

You are allowed to bring one check-in piece of luggage and one piece of hand luggage and ski inventory.

 

How much notice do I have to give before booking my Alps2Alps transfer?

 

Bookings should be made at least 24 hours prior to the service.

 

How will I find out my exact pickup times? 

 

Pickup times are shown on the vouchers that we send you after you make your booking.

 

Should I get travel insurance for my trip? 

 

Alps2Alps recomends you always insure your trip. We have no such service yet, so please contact you local insurance company.

 

Is it possible for our transfer to go to more than one location? 

 

Yes, Please make a note of this during the booking or send information to Customer Service in a separate email. Please note, extra stops might require additional fees and are subject to availability.

 

What do I do if I can't find my Alps2Alps rep at the airport?

What happens if I am late for my pickup time? 

 

You need to inform us in case you are late or your flight is delayed so that we can make necessary arrangments.

 

Can I transport a bike or child's pushchair?

 

Yes, but this should be arranged and booked in advance. Please make a note of this during the booking or send information to Customer Service in a separate email. 

 

Will I receive a booking confirmation? 

 

Yes, a booking confirmation will be forwarded to the email address you provide us.
