On A4/E64, E70 and A43 move in the direction of  D925 (Aiton, France). From the route A43 turn to the exit 24. Move on D925, D525 and D525A towards Le Pleynet (La Ferriere). Always ask the driver about the best possible route.  If there is bad weather or snow, just plan extra time for your transfer.

 

What to Do En-Route

You don’t have to go straight to your dream ski destination. If you want to stop at any stage of the transfer, you can ask your driver for a shortstop (up to 10 minutes). You can go outside and stretch your legs, breathe in some fresh air or have a cup of tea.

There are some supermarkets en-route to Le Pleynet. You can buy some snacks for your journey or your necessary ski holiday essentials before you get to the ski resort. Sometimes products bought on the way to ski resort can be cheaper compared to those found in the resort stores. Le Pleynet can be reached by mountain road that leads through the Haut Breda valley. Once in Le Pleynet, you can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding peaks of the Belle Etoile and the Cabottes.

 

Journey Altitude

It’s important to understand that your journey from Bergamo Airport to Le Pleynet ski resort will take you to a very high altitude. This can present its own potential risks and complications.

Le Pleynet is part of the Les Sept Laux ski area, which consists of three base areas. : Prapoutel, Pipay, and Le Pleynet. Unlike Le Pleynet, Prapoutel and Pipay are on the Grésivaudan valley side of the mountain, and Le Pleynet is situated on the other side of the mountain.

Le Pleynet has direct access to 120km of ski slopes in the Les Sept Laux ski area, with 38 individual pistes, served by 24 ski lifts. With universal ski pass, you’re also free to enjoy other resorts in Les Sept Laux area.
