Les Gets is a popular family ski resort, it can be busy at peak times, and you can expect to encounter some traffic and waiting. We will do whatever is necessary to ensure that you are comfortable for the duration of your transfer.

We highly recommend travelling midweek to cut down on your journey time and get more time on the slopes.

Journey Altitude

It’s important to be aware that your journey from Chambery to Les Gets will take you to a very high altitude. This may present its own potential complications such as altitude sickness.

Chambery airport sits at around 235m, while Les Gets is nestled at 1170m. Some of the passengers can experience mild discomfort, such as nausea, headaches and dizziness can be symptoms of the change in air pressure. Young children are especially at risk to feeling unwell.

At high altitudes, when you combine this air pressure change with a steep, serpentine and challenging road, the transfer journey can be a little more difficult. If needed, ask your driver to lower the temperature in the vehicle to help you feel more comfortable.
