Journey Altitude

It’s important to know that your journey from Grenoble to Tignes will take you to a very high altitude. This may present problems to some visitors.

Grenoble airport sits at almost 400m above the sea level, while the main village of Tignes is at 2100m. This change in altitude can give passengers some mild discomfort, such as nausea, headaches and dizziness, which are symptoms from the change in air pressure.

Young children tend to be more prone to these symptoms.

The combination of steep, serpentine roads and the change in air pressure can make the journey difficult for some passengers. If necessary, ask your driver to lower the temperature in the vehicle to help you feel more comfortable.

How Much Will Your Transfer From Cost?

  • The day and time you travel

  • Any available discounts

When calculating fares, we start with our standard price and then reduce this based on the factors above. This dynamic approach means we only reduce our prices and never increase them

Pricing is also affected by vehicle availability, transfer schedule, vehicle utilisation and additional costs such as road tolls and parking charges.
