Journey Altitude

If you travel to a place at a higher altitude than you’re used to, it’s important to know that this can present some passengers with mild discomfort.  Your body will need time to adjust to the change in pressure.

Milano Linate Airport sits at around 100m, while Abondance sits at an altitude of 1,000m. Nausea, headaches and dizziness can be symptoms of the change in air pressure. Young children are often those at risk of feeling unwell.

When you combine such air pressure change with steep, serpentine roads, the journey can be difficult for some people. If needed, ask your driver to lower the temperature in the vehicle to help you feel more comfortable.

The Abondance Valley with its unspoilt nature and picturesque mountains can be the right medicine for you if you will feel unwell.
