Journey Altitude

Going to spend your vacation in the Alps, you should get to know that journey through the mountains may cause you some diseases.

A headache, nausea and somnolence during this trip – it’s the symptoms of the air pressure change.

Zurich airport lies at 432m above sea level, and St. Moritz ski resort is situated at 1500m. So, this difference of altitude, especially riding on steep, serpentine roads may be a reason of feeling unwell. Kids can start feeling sick more often than adult people.

That's why don’t be shy to ask your driver to lower the temperature in the car to help you feel more comfortable, or to make a stop when needed.
