Verbier skiing: an overview
Verbier is the go-to destination for expert skiers, boasting 410 km of pistes spread across four valleys and is littered with classic off-piste routes to tempt the more adventurous. With plenty of on-piste runs available, intermediates won’t miss out either. Snowboarders can enjoy whizzing down the wide slopes stretching out in front of them too. Popular with families, Verbier offers direct access to designated child ski zones in La Tzoumaz and Nendaz. Both Les Creux and Savoleyres offer ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Family lift passes make for a more affordable option. And ski schools promise expert teaching. Tubing, sledging, luge and skating provide relief from the slopes, as do cinemas and indoor climbing.
