The standard route from Bergamo Airport to Leukerbad (275km) will usually take you via route E62. Move through SP116 and Via Aeroporto move to SS671 (Bergamo).

Continue on A4/E64, A8 and E62 towards SS33 (Mergozzo). Keep on moving towards your destination (Ried-Brig, Svizra). Continue on A9. Move on Eyholztunnel towards Talstrasse(Visperterminen). Via Kantonsstrasse/Road No. 9 take the A9 (Turtmann). Continue on the A9. Take Kantonsstrasse/Road No. 9, Umfahrungsstrasse, Tschingeren, Rumeling and Kantonsstrasse towards Dorfstrasse (Leukerbad). Sometimes this route may be closed in case of heavy snow.

An alternative route will take you via route A4/E64 (361km). Move through SP116 and Via Aeroporto move to SS671 (Bergamo). On A4/E64 and E25 move towards E27(Quart). From E25 turn to the exit Aosta Est. Move on SS27, T2, and E27 towards Road № 21 (Martigny-Combe, Svizra). Move on A9/E62 towards Road nr.9 (Sierre). Continue on Road Nr.9. Move on Varenstrasse, Rumelingstrasse, Farnenfluh, and Kantonsstrasse towards Dorfstrasse(Leukerbad).

Always ask the driver about the best possible route. If there is bad weather or snow, just plan extra time for your transfer.

 

What to Do En-Route

If you wish to stop at any stage of the trip to stretch your legs or breathe fresh air, we will happily accommodate this. Ask your driver for a shortstop (up to 10 minutes).

There are several supermarkets on your way to Leukerbad. If you get hungry on your way to the ski resort, you can choose a few snacks here. You may find that products bought on the way can be cheaper than those found in the resort itself.
