Geneva airport sits at 430m, while the main village of Val Thorens 3 Valleys is at 2300m. Passengers can experience some discomfort, such as nausea, headaches and dizziness due to the change in air pressure. Young children are often particularly prone to feeling unwell.
When you combine this air pressure change with steep, serpentine roads, the journey can be difficult for some people. If needed, ask your driver to lower the temperature in the vehicle to help you feel more comfortable.
