Munich to Zell am See Transfers; The Journey

The Route to Zell am See from Munich

The journey to Zell am See is far from boring, with stunning panoramas at every turn of the head and around every corner in the road.
Depending on external factors, weather and traffic, for example, there are three routes that our drivers may take.

The first and most likely route from Munich to Zell am See ski resort is as follows:

Munich Airport - Garching bei München - Brunnthal - Irchenberg - Brannenburg - Kössen - Erpfendorf - Lofer - Maishofen - Zell am See.

Although this is the perfect option for the transfer route, traffic could be too disruptive during peak times.

The second journey follows a slightly different route after passing Irchenberg:

Munich Centre - Wolfratshausen - Penzberg - Bad Tölz - Jenbach - Fügen - Zell am See resort.

The third option is more time consuming, however, depending on traffic on the first two routes it could turn out to be the most efficient option:

Munich Airport - Dorfen - Waldkraiburg - Siegsdorf - Inzell - Lofer- Maishofen - Zell am See.

Our drivers calculate the journey beforehand, assess traffic and weather, and choose the best route option for your travel day with the quickest journey time.

Seasonal Route Issues

Travelling in peak season may mean extra waiting or longer travel times, but our private airport transfer drivers will always work their best to ensure a comfortable and happy journey for your ski group.

Travelling midweek lowers the chances of long waits, traffic jams are much smaller and it guarantees more time on the slopes. Also, travelling midweek means you could save money - up to 40% off your cheap ski transfers! Sounds like midweek ski trips are the way forward for us.
