This resort is part of the Espace Diamant ski area and actually consists from two traditional French villages – Crest-Voland and Cohennoz. Crest Voland Cohennoz is a perfect place for beginners. There are 30 different downhill runs (length – 90km) and 100km of different cross-country pistes. Most of the pistes end in resort, so you don’t have to worry about getting back to the starting point (valuable aspect for beginners). Wide snow fields will give you a chance to practice from the very bottom - thing that in most of the resorts is often filled with stressful situations or limited space. If you want to ski or board in Albertville and Salanches (both 30min) or some of the other Espace Diamant ski resorts - Notre Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet, Praz sur Arly or Les Saisies – you can use Crest Voland Cohennoz as the place to sleep. Crest-Voland and Cohennoz villages provide some really good accommodation options. This resort is for those who prefer classical values – traditional culture, the landscapes of French Alps countryside, the family atmosphere between local people. In Crest Voland Cohennoz one can enjoy traditional French meal, have a drink with locals in a bar and enjoy simplicity at its best. There are several airports you can use to get here.
