Another big one for a special new year. Val d’Isere is home to some legendary après ski
bars that go all out to celebrate New Year’s.

For New Year’s Eve 2019/20, Dick’s Tea Bar are putting on a masquerade party where you can dance to their resident DJS and sip expertly crafted cocktails. Tickets are €50 and you better book quick before they’re all gone!

In terms of skiing, Val d’Isere offers 150km of connected pistes, great ski schools and is ideal for all skiing abilities.

Swiss Alps New Year’s Eve

The Swiss Alps have a strong party culture and really put on a show when it comes to New Year’s. Here are some of our favourite resorts to visit;

Zermatt Ski Resort

Lofty Zermatt isn’t just great for fabulous snow quality, challenging peaks and stunning vistas. This famous ski resort is also a fun place to visit for New Year’s.

Start in the more traditional manner, with a church gathering before watching fireworks with a stiff drink in hand. Next, head to one of the outdoor bars to countdown to midnight for more drinking and dancing into the early hours.
