After Christmas is done and dusted, Les Deux Alpes carries on the festive cheer with snowmen competitions and magical lights adorning the streets.
In terms of nightlife, Les Deux Alpes doesn’t disappoint. Most of the bars and restaurants in the village put on special events to bring in the new year such as extravagant meals, live music and DJs playing late into the night.

The Swiss Alps have a strong party culture and really put on a show when it comes to New Year’s. Here are some of our favourite resorts to visit;
Zermatt Ski Resort
Lofty Zermatt isn’t just great for fabulous snow quality, challenging peaks and stunning vistas. This famous ski resort is also a fun place to visit for New Year’s.
Start in the more traditional manner, with a church gathering before watching fireworks with a stiff drink in hand. Next, head to one of the open air bars to countdown to midnight for more drinking and dancing into the wee hours.
The next day, a refreshing session on the slopes should sort out your hangover!
